The Praga Dark is an entry-level racing kart designed to combine performance, reliability and ease of use. Developed around a straightforward technical configuration, it offers a consistent platform with reduced maintenance requirements, making it a practical solution for drivers looking for a racing chassis without unnecessary complexity.
The chassis is built from 30 x 2 mm tubular steel and features a 1050 mm wheelbase, providing the foundation for a balanced and predictable driving experience. The front end is equipped with 25 mm spindles and 10 mm kingpins, while the rear features a 50 x 1030 mm axle.
Braking is handled by a hydraulic system with a 195 mm ventilated and floating rear disc, combining effective braking performance with a configuration specifically suited to the kart’s intended use. The Dark is also equipped with 5-inch aluminium wheels, measuring 130 mm at the front and 210 mm at the rear.
The standard equipment includes a 320 mm “FASTER” steering wheel, an M7 seat available in sizes 28, 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35, and an 8.5-litre fuel tank. The black 507 bodywork and its supports are CIK-FIA homologated, completing a package focused on functionality, durability and ease of management.
The Praga Dark therefore represents an accessible entry point into the Praga Kart racing range, combining essential technical solutions with the build quality and engineering experience of IPK in a chassis designed to deliver consistent performance and reliability.
