The Praga America is a racing kart specifically developed for categories powered by 4-stroke engines, combining a dedicated technical configuration with the versatility required to adapt to different racing environments. Designed around the specific characteristics of this type of engine, it offers a balanced platform focused on consistent performance, drivability and extensive setup possibilities.
The chassis is built from 30 x 2 mm tubular steel and features a 1035 mm wheelbase. The front end is equipped with 17 mm spindles with 10 mm kingpins and a camber and caster adjustment system, while the aluminium pedal system can be adjusted to eight different positions to adapt the driving position to the driver’s needs.
At the rear, the America features a 40 x 980 mm axle, available in three different hardness levels – S, M and H – providing further possibilities to fine-tune the chassis according to track characteristics and grip conditions. Braking is handled by a hydraulic system with a 162 mm rear brake disc.
Standard equipment includes 5-inch magnesium racing wheels, measuring 132 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, an M6 330 mm steering wheel with an oval grip, an 8.5-litre fuel tank and a racing seat available in several sizes. The 507-509 bodywork and its supports are CIK-FIA homologated.
The Praga America brings IPK Engineering’s technical approach to 4-stroke racing categories, combining dedicated chassis dimensions, setup flexibility and high-quality components in a package developed to meet the specific requirements of this type of competition.
